Shopify Disclaimer
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Shopify Theme Create is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Shopify Inc., its subsidiaries, or any of its affiliates.
1. Use of the word “Shopify”
We use the word “Shopify” (and refer to the Shopify platform) only to describe the interoperability of our Service with the Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme architecture. “Shopify” and the Shopify logo are trademarks of Shopify Inc. and are used here nominatively in good faith, as permitted under applicable trademark law for accurate descriptive purposes.
2. Themes you generate
The Service generates standard .zipbundles that conform to the open Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme specification. The bundles are produced server-side using publicly documented Shopify Liquid, JSON, and theme-check rules. They are delivered to you for upload via your own Shopify Admin (Themes → Add theme). We do not host, modify, publish, or remotely manage your store on your behalf unless you explicitly authorise the optional Shopify connection.
3. No warranty of acceptance
Shopify may, at any time, change its theme guidelines, app eligibility rules, or API behaviour. We strive to keep the Service compliant, but we cannot guarantee that a Generated Output will be accepted by the Shopify Theme Store or by any specific Shopify plan. Generated Outputs are intended for use in your own private merchant store, not for resale on the Shopify Theme Store, unless Shopify’s partner program separately approves you.
4. Optional Shopify API connection
If you choose to connect your Shopify store to the Service, you authorise us to call the Shopify Admin API within the OAuth scopes you grant. Your use of the Shopify Admin API through the Service is also subject to the Shopify API Terms of Service, Shopify’s API License and Terms of Use, and Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy. You can revoke our access at any time from your Shopify Admin (Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps) or from the panel inside the Service.
5. Webhook compliance
We honour Shopify’s GDPR/CCPA mandatory webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact) for stores connected through OAuth. When a Shopify-issued redaction request arrives, we delete or anonymise the relevant data within the timeframes set by Shopify’s requirements.
6. Reporting trademark concerns
If you believe that any specific page on the Service uses Shopify trademarks in a way that goes beyond fair, descriptive use, write to harundede84@gmail.com and we will review and, where appropriate, correct the page promptly.
